On May 13, Jung Yu-mi took to Instagram with a heartfelt message:
“I suddenly felt like I hadn’t checked in for too long, so I wanted to say hello. I’m doing well and spending each day in good health.”
She also shared that she’s been following the FA Cup final and cheering on Manchester City, as well as enjoying K League matches while reminiscing about her past experiences at stadiums.
In a surprising twist, Jung revealed she has been studying for a Japanese language certification and had even been working toward a football coaching license with her YouTube team. However, that goal is currently on hold due to the difficulty of continuing alone:
“I truly hope to take on that challenge again someday.”
Addressing fans directly about her YouTube hiatus, she expressed her regret for the sudden stop in uploads on her channel “Not That Yumi,” which launched in May 2023:
“It’s a shame that I had to stop YouTube so suddenly, but I still wish all of my subscribers and supporters well. I hope each and every one of you finds happiness in your daily lives.”
